Can we all stop whining and remember that we're part of a publicly traded company, not a summer camp? We have a fiduciary responsibility to reorganize and optimize efficiency.
To those who keep saying "the culture is lost" or "I used to care"—if you don't care, feel free to move on. We're here for a paycheck, folks, not nostalgia hour.
If you're upset about the culture or actually having to do your job (which you're well-paid for), please post your name below. I'm sure someone will help you with your decision during the next reorganization. After all, the list of redundant jobs and people who barely do theirs is getting pretty long!
Until we make drastic changes in leadership we will continue to circle the bowl. The West is a toxic dumping ground that has been run into the ground. The other areas don't seem to be much better. Everyone is looking for work before they find themselves without a chair when the music stops.
Crown is not dead...we own to many assets to not be valuable...whether any of us will be here to manage those assets in the next five years is the real question. management showed their true cowardly colors during covid.
Culture is dead. No one cares anymore. Everyone of us who cares are jumping for new and better opportunities. We watched the rise and fall because the hero became the villain.
The Purple tower is on the verge of collapse.. The activist investors will slice and dice both business units within 5 years.. Everyone will be working for a new logo longing for the glory days.
Yes. I used to work my @ss off for this company, because I personally cared about the success of my teammates and because I enjoyed the satisfaction of doing productive & interesting work.
Now I don't care. Not even a little. I'm trying, but I am bored and tired and completely burned out from the drama and mismanagement. I still care about my team, but that's about it. Like many others, I'm only holding on while applying elsewhere.
It has been for a while.
Yeah it course. It won't be but it isn't impossible
Nothing can be changed or fixed till the fiber review albatross hanging over everyone’s head is gone. The longer it goes on the more people will leave and give minimal effort.
Surely every region being a skeleton crew will save Crowns future in this business
😹
Too broad of a question. As an employer with an amazing culture and benefits, of course. That's gone already. Are the assets they own still of value? Of course.
