VMware is spoiled legacy company, having no more than 3-4 years left.
I wish we never acquired them or just layoff 95% of it next 2 years.

Until the stock pump is working it is fine, but I agree VMware revenue per employee is not fixable. Too many incompetent folks at high positions.. will need exceptional trimming to fix it.
H1 are leaving en masse. RTO demands (including forced relocation) is causing north of 15% attrition in some orgs. Multiple former VMW product orgs are one their 4th discernable round of layoffs. Internal data shows every VMW product is below the line of doom with no quarterly data to suggest they'll get above it in the next 12 months. HT is reportedly shopping every product outside of VCF to reduce liability...
No idea if revenue per employee will get to what BC was formerly, but they're definitely giving it the college try.

The same was said about the CA acquisition, and Broadcom has been milking that for billions a year. This isn't Hock's first rodeo. He knows how to make money from formerly bloated companies.
