Town Hall today - they still want us to visit the office 2-3 times a week to meet with people in other countries on MS Teams in time zones 3 to 5 hours different from US, to "bond" with our colleagues

I agree, I would not go back on the office for a raise.
There are other ways to increase your income that are more likely to pan out.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. For a 10% bump in pay with 2x the responsibility and an increased chance of being canned I’d rather stay as an IC.
