I worked with some folks from Bulgaria office, tbh senior managers and directors were like interns. There are some good ICs (staff1/2+), but they all should be downleveled, unfortunately they don't realize how bad they are. I won't say 'close the office', but if this happens nothing will change, except free cash flow will increase!
Next round is US next week.
That’s not true. No more layoffs in US till vcf 9
Next round is US next week.
Better to close Bulgaria office for good.
Yep.
Focus on the main thing, plan B.
"Labor unions is what makes them special" - Better to close Bulgaria office for good.
Looks like Sofia folks are still in USSR hangover.
Just remember final vmware employees count 7K..that is the target number in coming Qtrs.
They can't layoff in Bulgaria
You can, it just takes more effort than in the US. Not his first rodeo.
it is next week(s), not next year, why not wait and see.
Nice job Bulgaria. Let's fck Tan and Dell in the a*ss
They can't layoff in Bulgaria, it is over for Hock and his minions, stock is going back to 500 and he is stuck with 25k VMware employees! His f plans won't work this time, enjoy pay cut Hoky
Labor unions is what makes them special;)
Bulgaria won't be affected,
And what makes them so special?
I don't think VMware needs more than 10k people, everything else is just coasting for the big money
Bulgaria won't be affected, don't spread BS. Although tbh there are so many staff1/2s and Directors that it is just hilarious.
how many ?
Sounds fair to me
