They can't fire everyone at once. Too expensive and quarter results will be terrible. It will be spread over a couple of years and the debt is paid off. 2 billion for transition. 2 billion debt payoff per quarter.

I loved VMware. Spent 8 wonderful years there. And it was love.
Broadcom is "love" too. I love the money.
And it is a lot of money! I received and sold 18 RSUs this week, at 1800, that's over $30k. Per quarter. Where else can I get this kind of pay?
I'll ride this gravy train until I get laid off, then I'll get something else. But I'm not going to stress about it.
