The direction has changed. It started changing years ago, but it's going to turn even more in the next few years.
Amazon is ramping up the Business division.
Their trucks are great. The deliveries are on time. Prices are right.
Vendors are able to sell direct through amazon.
You can tell you work for a failing company when all you can say is “move on”. I don’t work at Mason anymore and would never go back, but I do love reading how they are running it into the ground.
sure seems like a good decision to work for a company who STOLE from the employees, who believes in management by intimidation, who looks the other way towards discrimination towards women, lgbtq, people of arabic background , and the list goes on.
the branch mgrs were valued, and they up and quit in droves . customers have left , never to return again.
oh, and don’t forget about the 3m mask class action suit . and the civil suit against the “ best trained drivers in the business” for that lil incident at bates college .
still think your company walks on water?
Maybe you should apply to work for Amazon. Why are you so concerned about what Mason does? Listen, they let you go years ago because they didn’t see value in keeping you around. In the words of your ex girlfriend, “it’s time to move on”. Heck, maybe if you displayed the same amount energy and time working for Mason as you do keeping track of them you might still have your job. Just something to think about :)
And everyone realized that Mason overcharges. Less reps to best competitors already low prices.
