I feel sorry for the public universities in Louisiana with the latest move by the state government to force classrooms to display the 10 commandments. Louisiana institutions are better than this. How can the
universities be taken seriously with this requirement. Could you image an astrophysics or engineering lecture ever taking place in the same room as a religious symbol like the 10 commandments on the wall. What about a class on religions of the world highlighting the Christian symbol and completely ignoring symbols of the other religions. This state law is offensive to most except for the few who think they know what is best for US society. If you want your freedom of thought and Constitutional rights in the future please speak up now on campus in a peaceful, non-violent way that does not violate campus rules and local, state, or federal laws. This is worth protesting.
