Basically title, what will happen with SRM/DR? I know they are currently masquerading their revenue as part of the Vsphere's, but without it, I guess it would be very low. Revenue per employee in this org is also pretty bad compared to Broadcom.

SRM/DR works one of the worst talents I have seen in VMware. Not sure what will happen as the products brings 0 revenue if we don't include Vsphere's.
Layoff is already done. Nothing will happen in arm/dr. At least for a year
Remember 7K vmware employee count. Most of the product lines will be gone in coming months. People in EU enjoying will not be spared. Hockey Tan knows how to bribe authorities and get the job done. That is how he got the deal approved in US. I hope Trump will reverse some things in coming Jan.

DR/SRM are core products, I wouldn't expect much cut there, although they don't bring much revenue. To reach Broadcom's expectation we might have to reduce the workforce, starting from lower level ICs and managers/senior managers etc.
They're going to get cut and then they're going straight to jail where they shall spend the rest of their lives atoning for their desire of a respectable life.
Then Pat Gelsinger will ride in on the back of a flying golden Capybara win the company back after a very tense game of Connect 4 with Hock Tan It will be televised in place of the Olympic.
After Pat has won, he will then break SRM out of jail.
To celebrate, the US will get free healthcare and more than 10 minutes PTO every leap year.
