There is no need to fear reporting the massive criminal activity in the New York Metro market anymore. Earlier this year, the attorney general's office for the Southern District of New York launched a pilot whistleblower program:
"To encourage early voluntary self-disclosure of criminal conduct and to promote
effective enforcement of criminal laws, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York (“SDNY”) will implement a pilot program applicable to circumstances where an individual discloses to this Office information regarding criminal conduct undertaken ... involving fraud or corporate control failures or affecting market integrity, or criminal conduct involving state or local bribery...". "This Office will enter into a non-prosecution agreement in exchange for the individual’s cooperation" where certain conditions are met. Therefore, ya'll who have had fear have a way out.
