Just seen a paper printed off in the depot where I'm at.... 14 working days to lose points 4 points.
License Expiring, Pending Rules and a couple of other statuses now count against you as well for points.

The reason for another attendance policy is to try and get rid of more TEY and go more towards technology and have engineers forced on the ground and eventually go remote and satellite trains.
Good luck.

They probably need to do that. The conductors don’t want to do anything.. Used to be there job to walk their train, looking for the problem. Now they just call others to do it for them, while they sleep or play on phone

It sounds like Vena and his team are getting desperate. It would make sense just because of the stock price droping in the last couple of weeks. He's been there almost an entire year, and the company has gone down even further. The company is having more and more derailments, and almost everyone else now doesn't care about this company anymore.

What is a union?! You can pay off the union board waaaay easier than give the boots on the ground what they want. In the old days the unions were headed by men and women that had honor and spines. These new era leaders are like warm butter. ALMOST a total waste of our dues.

Note to self.....
The unions have no say in the carriers attendance policy.
Just follow the rules and feed you're family.

Can't fire us all if we get an event going to everyone and layoff at the same time without the help of the unions..... use Social Media to our advantage.

Unions approve? They haven't done anything about the 3 or 4 policy changes changes yet. FRA made them hire so many a year and can't furlough new guys for 1 yr...... so this their way of weeding out people.

This is how the Carrier gets over getting rid of more agreed unions employees and pushing for more scabs who will work like dogs 7 days a week, no marking off.
The unions need to fight these attendance policies and with results.
