I haven’t heard of anyone getting let go after they opted in for the severance. Nothing this company does surprises me though. They’re filling a bunch of the positions that were vacated. I have a feeling it’s going to mess the company up. I don’t want anyone to be let go, but would love to see one or two more rounds just so the company can hurt as bad as the employees do.

I volunteered for the severance program the. Was told that I was terminated instead. I have worked at the company for 5 years without any issues. Has anyone else heard of this?
I heard people are still being let go, not volunteered , as of yesterday, so sad to watch this company go down in such an ugly manner.
All the people who took the voluntary severance will be off the books July 1st.
At that point they'll probably reassess the situation and where we stand.
Originally they said they needed to get $100 million out of these layoffs.
Rumors are they got 750-1000 people who pressed the button, so it sounds like they'll probably hit that mark or be pretty close.
I don’t know if there will be more. I half doubt that there will be. But has anyone heard anything credible either way?
I'm worried about the next few months.
