Has anyone received their email about their severance? We were told it be sent to our personal email on Friday but as of today I have received nothing. Curious if I’m the only one.

“ Has anyone seen a payment update in cobra yet? we started to set up the cobra plan and they want $2400 a month with zero Crown contribution?”

Not being snarky, but that’s what COBRA is. It a continuation of benefits that you pay the full cost of plus an administrative fee. Almost everyone is “offered” COBRA when they leave a company — you just get to stay on the same benefits at what CC estimates is the monthly cost they incur. It’s not a “benefit”, it’s there to keep you covered until you find another job or the COBRA is exhausted at 18 months. Sometimes it’s cheaper to get another policy on healthcare.gov (Obamacare) than COBRA. That’s what I did. But, you f you don’t have much time left in the year or your out of pocket is met and you expect more expensive care for the rest of the year, you may want to go on COBRA. Search online for alternatives.

Cobra and latest round of layoffs. Has anyone seen a payment update in cobra yet? we started to set up the cobra plan and they want $2400 a month with zero Crown contribution? Says we have until August 15 to make a decision?
How was yours looking?

As a first round layoff ex-employee, just a warning that when you see your COBRA payment at first, it likely will not be the adjusted rate. Do not panic. It takes a few days for the rate to get adjusted.
Also, watch them very carefully. I’ve known multiple people who have had their COBRA cancelled even when paid on time. They sc--w up the payment process all of the time even if you are set up on automatic payment deductions.

They haven't activated the health in Cobra, yet. It takes about a week to 2 weeks for the Cobra to activate and then you'll see a partial payment made. You'll have to pay the rest, in full, or you will lapse. You have like 15 days after the partial is completed to pay. They shafted a lot of people on the last layoff over the Cobra.

My Cobra is all sc--wed up, no health care approve. but all the others health like dental and vision are available. I have to submit a request to cobra to fix the errors in cobra.

My COBRA election message just showed up in BenefitSolver. I've been checking that because I need to keep benefits going ASAP.
