The titanic is headed right into the iceberg and you think a leadership shuffle will make change? And until the board is overhauled, it is complicit. There isn’t a single competent manager in the bank at any meaningful level. Not a single person named in any post I’ve read is capable in any capacity that would affect the outcome. Most are followers who wouldn’t dare challenge the folks above for fear of losing their station. So go ahead and cycle the also-rans onto the bridge so everyone can point fingers when the ship goes down.
What I cannot understand is the unwavering commitment to this Purpose strategy with the never ending social media touting the millions of dollars of giveaways, very few of which I believe shareholders would support. It’s a bank, and not a very good one at this point, and it markets itself like a charity. The cost cutting has made the branch experience absolutely terrible. Clients and customers are leaving in high volume. I don’t know who Robinson or Humphrey were, but they are the losers here, either groveling on their deathbeds or rolling in their graves.
