Rumor has it Maresca is already actively trying to return for round 3. Only at Walgreens could this happen.
Name one thing Tracey has done to help Walgreens. There is nothing anyone can point to...NOTHING. When she wasn't dancing, singing, and drumming, she was self promoting every working moment anywhere anyplace. Happy to take clothes, awards, whatever.....all about Tracey!!!!
Store employees dread her visits, corporate employees resent her, and top leaders are simply embarrassed. Walgreens is literally flushing money away with her...every day.
You can thank Roz for the reason Tracey is still here. She ensured her "friend" could not be touched. This company is riddled with leaders who "protect some", but destroy thousands.....criminal.
Maresca was the Ultamet mistake LOL!. And yes, fire Tracey Brown. With all the employees they have forced out (forcibly or because some had the sense to just leave) how can Tracey still have a job???

According to many, Roz made a deal upon her exit ensuring the protection of Tracey....the gift that keeps on giving.

Wow, Maresca, really?? He was one of the positive turnovers at Walgreens, right up there with Hsiao. Wasn't just booted one time but twice. First as a consultant and then as an employee. Whoever thought it was a good move to bring him back was clearly misguided. Guessing Ulta is now trying to figure out what they got themselves into. He Couldn't get enough of himself on LinkedIn AND according to most accounts, no one could ever figure out what he actually Did/delivered during his last stint at WAG.
Oh lord. Mike Maresca. Haven’t seen that name in a while. He wanted to turn our Bellevue office into a West Coast OPO. This was during the time when we were trying to save $1B per year the first time. He was out there. I worked for one of his direct reports and we all had a good laugh when we heard about his plans because even us peons knew how ridiculous that was.
Walgreens needs a few puppets to distract the masses while the man behind the curtain pulls the levers he likes.
If Walgreens was eventually able to see through the likes of Hsiao Wang, Danielle Grey, and even Mike Maresca, how can they not be addressing Tracey Brown? Walgreens needs doers, not talkers or takers. This company has lost its soul........
