Been at the Company for 20 years and if I am honest, our Services Teams SU-K. Horrible professional services offerings.
Global services is moving the separation date for contractors to end of June. Redistribution of workload will be next week. Do less with less.
Didn't we do this already last August? The contractors we have now are to cover what was necessary without the ability to hire FWRs because of hiring freeze.

so we're laying off but converting contractors to fulltime employees. That does not make sense.

I’m hearing/seeing this elsewhere. Some are being converted, most are being shown the door.
1 Contractor not getting their contract renewal doesn't mean all contractors are.
