The EEOC investigates complaints of job discrimination based on race, color, religion, s-x (including pregnancy, gender identity, and s-xual orientation), national origin, disability, age (40 or older), or genetic information. If they believe an employer is violating laws, they may take action to stop the discrimination.

Layoffs aside, if Nielsen discriminated against you illegally, you can file the eeoc complaint at eeoc.gov. It is illegal for Nielsen to retaliate. To sue Nielsen, you can decline their pitiful 1 week a year settlement.
I’m impacted and this doesn’t apply to layoffs. If a company is going through a layoff there is no claim. Also this sounds nothing like Nielsen. Nielsen is the best company I ever worked for and I’m grateful for the work I did, everything that I learned and all the opportunities they gave me. Nielsen will always be close to my heart!
