Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Salary structure

Can someone comment the current salary structure per job grade for Truist?

I know it was available via the intranet.
I left and am looking to come back, but wanna make sure the job I’m applying for is within what I’m asking for.
Glassdoor and other sites aren’t very reliable for salary ranges

Sorry @lxw+1t1hE7qv. YOU are wrong. It is on our stupid internal website. You have to be willing to discover it on the HR page. It is there. I print it every year.

I wouldn’t apply for a job here. As stated in other comments it’s become very dysfunctional, especially in IT. Our leadership is a complete joke right now from Bill down.

It is available. I looked at it recently. There are four groupings by things like metro. Above 114(I think) there is only the National grouping. Stock options start at 112, but 113 is where pay really starts being differentiated.

Truist gets more dysfunctional by the day. Run as fast and far away as you can.

On the intranet, go to HR> HR A to Z> Salary ranges and job grades. OP, I'll say the salary ranges are pretty odd. For example a 109 starts at 67k and ranges to 101k. Best I can tell you is look at zip recruiter, BLS.gov and others to get your gauge of satisfy expectations. Then add 5% buffer. Good luck 👍

Pay grade salary ranges are (or at least used to be) available on the internal intranet. It would give a range of salaries, with a mid-point, for each pay grade. There used to be a color coded system that was associated with high COL markets, mid COL markets and low COL markets, if I remember correctly. Even if someone had it, if you don't know the pay grade of a given job, it would be pretty useless.

Don't know if it is still out there, or even still in use, and don't plan to look for it.

To the person who said this was not in the Intranet, that’s false. The salary grades, bands and targets for AIP and LTI can be found on The Source.

The salary structure has never been made public on the internet.

Why in the world are you wanting to come back in the middle of them planning layoffs this summer, fall, and winter company-wide? And no, just because you come back it doesn't mean you aren't going to get laid off again, they literally laid off an FTE on another team under my SLM who was hired for 4 months.

You're lying. It depends on the market you work in and it's not available on the intranet you have to ask HR.
