Can anyone comment to the fact that all press releases state this downsizing event will last through 2025? Who gets cut on a second round?! (Clearly my first rodeo)

I'm out! Opted in, moonwalked out! Does it feel good? No. It feels incredible! Take the money and run people! There are way better employers out there.
Remember no one is indispensable. People come and go.
Rumors are swirling that there will be another opt-in for voluntary role eliminations. Maybe within the next year?
Good people continue to stream out the door whether voluntarily or involuntarily. Meanwhile, soon-to-be former managers attempt to maintain some kind of authority over the people they used to lead.
Remaining managers have a heavy lift - stop the loss of good people and convince former managers that they’re now individual contributors.
People with options may not stick around to find out how this ends.
