My wife was part of the layoffs. They shipped her division overseas is what she was told. Everyone with her title was laid off, but they already moved her into a new role. She still had to sit down with HR where they read the termination script, but afterwards her boss was like "Sorry, we had to that legally. I couldn't tell you, but we already have a new position for you". Ended up being a slight pay raise, so all good in the end.

As a former ADP employee I can state many departments are top heavy in stupid and lazy employees like you. The sooner this deadwood is culled the better off the company will be. After all your being laid off will help the stock price and my portfolio value increase so hit the bricks Mr!! LOL!! Bye now!!

It never hurts to consult an attorney as long as it's free. I speak from experience when I say you will most likely be told you don't have a case. The reason being ADP knows what they are doing here since they've been doing it for many years now. Also, when there is a large layoff a list is produced of all the employess who were let go. No names but general information which is usually shows no one specific group has been targeted. If the list wasn't provided as part of the package then I believe you have the right to request it.

There are other factors, not just race. Gender, age, disability, religious etc. it never hurts to consult a lawyer.

I don’t think it was about race. I saw many Indians also let go. May be age/tenure/salary. But many young people were also let go.

I’ll be seeking legal advice. 20+ years, caucasian. It doesn’t hurt to seek advice.

There is life after ADP. However, for many workers that have devoted their life to ADP, 20, 25, 30 years, it may be difficult unless you are able to find a more progressive company that values knowledge, skills, and tenure as a positive vs. a deficit. ADP moves people out of the way so that they can invoke change within the organization, and seeing how dysfunctional the entire organization is ran, their direction leaves much to be desired as evident from the outages of their payroll platform, and the inability to do what ADP should always do, file tax deposits, and returns timely without errors. Sadly, that is not the case today. Good luck to all of the job seekers, I wish you well.

Lots of comments about older employees with a lot of years being let go. Any truth to that? Wondering if I should seek legal advice. 30 years and I’m out. Also… white guy…. Seems like that’s a trend too.

ADP Human Resources for an HCM company is an utter JOKE!

Of course they monitor these threads ( they've been doing this for a while now) in their futile attempt to deliver perceived "value"

You truly get to know a company when you off-board. Please poll associates that have departed and you shall receive the clarity you seek.

Unfortunately today is the last day of this round of reductions. Let’s hope they do another clean up in the late summer.

They may find another job but they won’t find a better one.
