Modern dell got mentioned today in the ISG all hands , the word "leaner " was only used and we know what that means
So what % of layoffs will happen in August ? Will August just be the start or will they do all of them in august

I cannot see software eng jobs going in India, why cut from places that have lower salaries? Other roles in India that can be replaced with AI for sure. I reckon it'll be the US & EU first and foremost. I for one welcome my WFR overlords.

Will orgs be exempt? Groups like apex and edge ?
No more than 25K - this is the size Dell should be at. Too bad Dell does not have CEO like Jensen.
Percentages are hard to determine and probably won't even be known after it is done. But it should be larger then most and spread throughout the various Geographies.
My read is it will start in India in the Mid July time frame. India has had Layoffs in other rounds but has been spared the large numbers. I don't think that will be the case this time.
Europe and USA should start in August and go through September. Just like the last couple of years.
These should be across most business units. Even Engineering, especially software Engineering in India.
