A friend of mine at an outside company that sells software to Dell told me his main contact (at Dell) told him this week he has to get approval from JC for a $30K PO.... that's how much every dollar is scrutinized now. There's an internal software buying freeze.

Yea, the quarterly was BS. The company is going down the drain. If you get let go be thankful before they get rid of severance all together. Worst company I’ve ever worked for.
JC is likely adopting Tawainese penny pinching to sell more AI servers at break even margins.

The new PO process is awful. Bringing work to a halt to go through many many many levels of approvals. I’ll leave it at that.
