I've been in way too many meetings where VPs micromanage every little detail, many times throwing out days of hard work just because they don't like something and without explaining why or having a solid argument. Have you ever dealt with this kind of frustration?

they want to push out as many people as possible, the less people they have, the less severance they have to pay when it's time to shut down. old way to say money.
What I see is the VP's are floundering, feeling the heat from above. Its as if everyone is in survival mode, trying to save a ship that is already at the bottom of the ocean.
I do see projects being cut, request of job roles from HR, something is brewing
Just protect yourself and plan the next move.
