In the final years of McD they were circling the drain and paying the execs / managers off in stock and stock options. Do that for 20 years or so and what you end up with is the execs / managers owning almost all the stock and the company.
You've often heard the saying that McD bought Boeing with Boeing's money. In a nutshell this is what happened : instead of buying McD with cash Boeing, read that as phil condit, agreed to converting all outstanding shares of McD stock &stock options into Boeing stock one for one. This in practical terms amounted to a stock split of boeing stock whereby the vast majority of "boeing" stock was suddenly now owned by McD execs / managers and boeing's stockholders and managers became minority owners. John McDonnell / his descendents is the top stock owner and owns a controlling share of boeing.
Fast forward 27 years. Any stock movement has been negliable over the years and McD's former / retired execs / managers still own the vast majority of boeing stock. Calhoun is their handpicked ceo along with their handpicked BOD. When the recent vote was taken Did you REALLY expect the outcome to be any different ??? NEWB'S !!!!

Of course Boeing is going under. You are living first-hand the most corrupt corporate ponzi scam of all time. And soon you will be living the most corrupt government takeover of all time. So you will need to find a new job in both a different company and in different country if don't want to be a brainwashed zombie slave. As they say, ignorant people get what they deserve.
I bet the fix was already in on this horse race from the very beginning I don't think us having the weekend off to forget it is going to work. I did have a glimmer of hope but now I'm just going to start looking elsewhere for a job.
If they are doing silly things like this then we are definitely going under.
