Thread regarding Hyliion layoffs

What is going on with this company?

I invested early into this company when they had a product that showed promise. I am referring to the Class 8 electric trucks that were in development. They sold me on having a product council to help with customer feedback and drive the early adoption of the Hyliion product offering. I watched the EV market regress and realized this would have a direct impact on the need or desire for Class 8 Hybrid trucks. I was hopeful that Hyliion would continue to press forward and target key customers at a minimum to provide evidence that the product was sound and ready for mass production. Then it happened out of nowhere hey investors sorry, the truck is too expensive and the market isn't ready so we are going to build a company around power generation. Wait a minute, if no-one wants and EV whether it's a Class 8 Truck or an everyday commuter why do we need to build mini grids if the power demand or charging infrastructure isn't going to be stressed? I drive a Hybrid for all of the known benefits and your Truck platform / Class 8 tech was a solution that provided multiple benefits. Now your playing with 3D printing and power generation with no real market or demand? Create the demand restart the Class 8 program with a market segment that is willing to pay the premium and gets your trucks on the roads. Learn from Tesla and other EV companies, also move Healy to a different role. He's proven to be a kid lost in the sandbox. We need someone to stand firm and drive results not make sandcastles only to topple them. I'm done with my rant, I'm holding onto my stock even though I see the collapse of this company because of poor leadership and the lack of a backbone to drive change and remain focused on the Class 8 trucking segment.

Short sighted investor
The power grid is going to be super stressed by data centers...not EVs.
