This should not be happening

Walmart just had one of its best years on record and this is how they reward us to close out Q1? Nothing but corporate greed. Expected so much more from this company that is "people" focused.

Exactly. This is the time when people should be rewarded for their hard work that made these results possible. Instead, we're being punished by layoffs. It's despicable.

Expected so much more? They've been doing this and going this direction for 10+ years now. This is not a surprise at all. News flash, it'll happen again next year, so don't be surprised when it does, I've told you.

I heard Doug is advocating for more H1B workers from India.

Walmart thinks India will have the next big middle class. The middle class in America has been disappearing for a while now. Wal-Mart has been kissing up to India big time by providing them with jobs. Made in America my behind…

Wal-Mart has been up front that they want to replace people with technology. I don’t know why you’re surprised.

Also, you should read their financial statements. Wal-Mart has billions of dollars in debt they’re paying on from the spending spree Doug allowed for all these dotcoms and other companies they were buying up.

Walmart US stores generates all the sales and profit. But Walmart leadership is determined to ki-l it. It’s sad to watch.
