I think there’s some big changes to come from this. I’m a current employee and I fear I am about to be laid off, including my entire team.

Taking advantage of Nurse practitioners. Promising great pay but they are not keeping their end of the bargain. While we struggle to make ends meet, the c-suite is making their money off our backs. They charge $300 plus for cash pay new patients. Give NPs $60 out of it. It's highway robbery if you ask me.
They have been sued for this but they haven't stopped.
The company is a train wreck. The revenue cycle department is in shambles. Most of the seasoned VPs and SVPs have left and been replaced by sub-par managers. Things are getting worse and worse. Most of the awful changes have been instituted by the COO, so no wonder his bags are packed and ready to go. He came into the job with absolutely no operational experience. No one should be surprised by this mess. Of course there will be layoffs because they kept throwing bodies in the mix with no training and without proper vetting. They will also continue to close offices since they were on a buying spree a few years back and would acquire any practice that winked at them. Now they are paying the price with a bloated staff, broken operational processes and massive employee and patient dissatisfaction. Get your resume out there asap.
