It makes sense this will probably go on all week. Which areas are being hit and how many?

Not sure how Donna reported that “only” hundreds of employees laid off. In my relatively small team, there were 50 immediate layoffs and another 50 told they have to relocate…of which maybe only 50% will relocate to Bentonville.
Walmart ethics is also facing massive layoffs.
It's a "we need to justify the expense of the new home office by forcing people to move." With the associate merchants they were added in big numbers with the re-org 4 years ago and it never really worked well.
Interesting that this is happening the week that Walmart releases Q1 results on Thursday. I wonder if this is preemptive for a bad report.
Confirming Associates merchants are being hit at DGTC. Based on what i know, ETS has been hit the hardest but can't speak for other SBUs. Makes no sense too. What is the strategy here? Relocate associates not in Bentonville to Bentonville or reduce head count throughout the org? Both? Either way, i can't wait until Media sees this considering the strongest year we just came out off. Sounds like someone is about to lose the "best place to work" badge lol.
