I worked for a different corporation and it was the same, push survey, then axed. They are sure using these surveys for something. And its surely not to fix the issues that are being brought up by the employees.

What’s your point here? They never really cared about any surveys before. Has something changed?

Almost positive that that Walmart (and other companies who participate) pay for that survey and the rankings that they receive. Why else would results be released immediately after the deadline to take the survey. There is no time needed to review the results when you already know the winner.
