I’ll start some speculation here. Bill has been on the national board and a supporter of the “Purpose “ of the Boys and Girls club. He will become chairman in 2025 for a two year term. Quarter four of this year will he name Beau CEO at Truist and remain Chairman of Truist for some period before transitioning power to Beau completely later in 25 or 2026? Seems a natural progression does it not?

No way Beau retires this close to the CEO job unless he KNOWS he will not become CEO. Too much ego involved in these situations. I am of the belief that Stein was brought on the BOD as a plausible replacement for Bill. If Beau indeed retires soon that will be the reason.
BILL JUST LIKES BOYS
Rumor is that Beau is retiring.
I wish he would be put on trail for fraud. After he had defrauded shareholders of their investment money for 3 straight years.
I don’t know if this is the scenario in which he leaves Truist. But he’s going to cash out at some point soon. Hopefully they will take his CEO license away so he can’t run anything else into the ground.
In the news 3 years from now:
"Truist CEO Bill Rogers has ran the Boys and Girls Club into financial disarray. Shutdowns of local chapters ensues."
He’s not leaving Truist anytime soon.
