Latest phone app problem?

The release of a new app for the iPhone replacing the previous one has created problems for users. What’s going on inside the company where updates that break product usability are given a ‘June’ timeline? What happened to valuing software as a ‘personal ambassador’ to each user and their phones? Software is your company’s front display/face to your customers.
Curious.

CEO and the upper management released an app with so many features missing or broken. Issue is not about quality of app, it is more about releasing a product with so many features missing. This is what you get with less experienced product managers and outsourced app testers. CEO outsourced many jobs due to his poor management skills and no growth of profits.

Deflecting the ‘poor release of app to quality’ is his latest strategy to deflect the focus on main issues of app. He cannot fool all the people all the time !.

From wired online article …..
Many features that had long been a part of the Sonos app are simply missing in the update. Features such as the ability to set sleep timers and alarms, set the speakers at a precise volume level, add songs to the end of a queue, manage Wi-Fi connectivity, and add new speakers are missing or broken, according to the complaints. Users are also reporting that the revamped search engine in the app often can’t search a connected local library running on a networked computer or a network-attached storage drive—they way many of Sonos’ most loyal users listen to their large private music libraries. Some streaming services are partially or completely broken for some users too, like TuneIn and LivePhish+.

Why buy Sonos when there’s Bose and Apple with better technology and proven for years in headphones.

Sonos research and development is way behind Bose and Apple. Sonos won’t make a dent on their revenues.

The guy who speaks English in French accent should be fired. No proper direction for the teams and chaos for the last one year due to reorg, which did not make any sense.

Releasing an app without proper features is like a big blunder. Who is the product manager and what is the CEO doing ?.
