Was @ Paychex back in 2006-2007 Eligible for Rehire? First Job

Anyone here aware how you can check eligibility for rehire @ Paychex discreetly? Call their HR Direct in Rochester?

I started at Paychex back in 2006-2007 - first job. Back then they used to use the Work Number. Don't think they do anymore. I got a better job after a friend recruited me to another company. I has a manager who was a bit tough to deal with.

It's been 17 years, so not sure if:

  1. They keep records/retain records past 4 years - the state jurisdiction had a 4 year EE records retention schedule?
  2. I left when supervisor was going through a rough patch and was a bit of a fire cr--ker. Never did find out what they thought after I left.
  3. If I wasn't eligible for rehire for some reason would that still be valid after 17 years?
  4. Working at ADP similar HCM company they destroyed records after a period of time and candidates got rehired even if they had past not been eligible IF enough time had passed & nothing was fraud related.

The policy was that someone could have changed over 10-15 years so they gave them a shot even if past performance was blah & also if no safety concerns.

  1. Just curious if any insights?

Went on to work eventually at ADP, great run of 9 years & promoted 3 x's. Now Recruiter reached out to me directly.

Thoughts?
