The company's job portal is overflowing with new job opportunities, while hardworking employees who received a measly pay raise have had their increases frozen until the end of the year. It begs the question, do they want to push loyal employees out?

No new hires in wexford.
This is also happening at my company and most companies. Older experienced workers are making a lot less then new college graduates (or people with only a few years of experience). They know the older workers are less likely to leave cause they may have a tough time finding another job or if they get a new job then they will be the first to be let go if their are layoffs in the new company. Therefore, most companies take advantage of this and pay older experience less money. Lots of the young kids are making 180K to over 210K in software development. And thanks to Trump laws, the H1B or any visa workers are now making even more since their salary is based on the going rate in the surrounding local area where the company is located. Instead of helping eliminate H1-B visa folks from being hired, he made it a lot worse. Most companies still hiring H1-B folks and paying over 200K for software developers in my company in the east coast.
