So Maitland just did another layoff this week. If things are so bad, how is the Tech Team going to Vegas? I thought they were doing poorly? Anyone know what’s going on?

Haha what I’d love to hear more about is the recently terminated Lead Tech Bro’s alleged bender at this conference. It had to have been something to behold. A simple google search could have prevented this, too
What’re you talking about? The tech team already cut many poor performers last year. And as someone else said, vendors often pay for things.
Most events for both FS and Tech are paid by the Vendors not Staples which is why they’re able to afford these type of outings. So for Tech, it’s most like HP, Brothers, etc.
The Maitland layoff last week was based on poor leadership that created a poor culture a lack of engagement and poor performance. This was not a cost cutting exercise. This was a strategy from last Nov that failed miserably and unfortunately caused some good associates their careers. History continues to repeat.
Sounds like you picked the wrong team. Let them go reep the spoils of war.
