Is freelancing legal as per the North American employment policy? Are any HRs here to comment?

is there any formal understanding with your SAP manager about this arrangement? Also wont the other W2, C2C do background checks and be concerned about your other engagements? I am inspired and just seeking more clarity. If I do it, will try to do it as transperantly as possible.
I have been working for 3 companies since COVID-19. 2 on W2 and the other on C2C. I book a meeting room and work from 3 laptops from the office. I paid off my 1million$ mortgage and started a business too. Make hay when the sun shines...
You have to get permission from your manager and it has to be in a non competing industry
You mean, freelance whilst you are employed by SAP ?
