Will there be a 3rd Round of Layoffs Q3 2024?

@1oibi+1spvXfZw I apologize but I meant to put July 24th down below not August. Point is, they're not done..I wouldn't stick around to find out unless you want that severance package. Word of advice for Kent Master's and Albemarle..take ownership of your mistakes and actions. In addition, hire some people that actually understand economics and how to grow a business. You've been in the repeated cycle of major gains then losses for a while. Aside Magnolia, where is the sustainability? The definition of insanity is repeating the same action while expecting different results. Get your s*** together and either do better or sell to a company that can actually put on the big boy pants every day.

I left the company for another as soon as the first round came about in early 2024. It's August 24th, 2024 today and they are still not done. Round 4 is on the rise..I have a source that still works there and it's rumored that they anticipate the KGM site in NC to pretty much float as a maintenance only facility. The capital projects along with R&D is on their last limb. Get out while you can guys.
Albemarle is losing money. More cuts coming.
Time to hedge the layoff risks by shorting ALB.
Stock $100? Next round coming?
They laid off a number of folks in corporate capital projects in April. I'm guessing that OP was calling that the second round.
rounds of layoffs typically occur across various global locations and functions
Just curious...when was the 2nd round, and what prompts you to inquire about a third round?
