Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Hemorrhaging Customers

Krause's All Hands painted CSG as a huge success - the greatest ever. So different to what I'm seeing. Lots of customers moving to rivals or dropping EUC completely due to price gouging, embarrassingly long quote times, and support/services/education falling off a cliff. Anybody else see ing a very different picture to the one Krause painted?

Can someone please tell me what school of business is this thinking coming from?

From the private equity - squeeze the cow until there is no milk - school of business.

Profit is not measured in terms of customer satisfaction

Yes, super frustrating for sales team. Crazy targets, awful new processes and tools, confusing sales plays, sub standard education offerings. Customers are definitely walking.

seriously, how is CSG expected to maintain afloat if customers are dropping off and those that remain are abused to pay more for subpar services?

Can someone please tell me what school of business is this thinking coming from?

Pretty sure that's working as designed. My understanding was that CSG wanted to lose any customers not on the who's who list of their respective vertical. "Don't let the door hit ya where the good lawd split ya"
