How many more large layoffs do you think will happen this year and when do you expect them? Let us know if you're in the middle circle and are confident with your predictions vs if the knowledge you share is based on hearing it through the grapevine. It might help some of us prepare ourselves and/or be on the lookout as time gets close to see if there are any red flags in our unique work domains.

"Time for congress to put stiff penalties on US companies that offshore big chunks of their workforces. Make it not worth it. "
This was literally something Trump was doing when he was in office, I can't confirm, but I think Biden admin just threw it out the window.
You think they’d learn by the industry example that offshoring work for cheap labor leads to poor quality and loss of contracts. It’s definitely not going to instill confidence in those customers already shaken up by the data breach.
You have to wonder, if 98 Billion in Profit isn’t enough, what is?
Will it ever be enough?

Fair game meaning be prepared for a lay off if you work in any of these roles?
Looks like they are already sliding in their cheaper friends in roles they just let their other friends go in. Oh the circle of sl--e. These people have no heart.
“ To the HR person - can you give any details about which departments/areas of the company?”
Unfortunately I’m not privy to specifics because they’ve not shared that level of detail with any of us at GL 28, but my director can be a chatty Cathy sometimes. Basically, if you have any sort of non-patient-facing role, are remote, call center, IT, or anything that can legally be sent to India or the Philippines, you are fair game. There is most definitely an active ongoing push to offload everything they can possibly get away with and keep skeleton crews stateside to manage offshore teams. Hope this helps.

MBT…Management By Terrorism. These people don’t care if you and your kids starve to death. Zero fu--s given. Bail while you can because the end of Q2 is going to be brutal. HR person here, shouldn’t share it, but it’s the right thing to do for people so they can make some sort of plan. At least I can live with myself while also seeking other opps. Best wishes to all.
Does anyone know if M&R will be impacted?
Has anyone know when layoffs are planned for E&I?
In C&S, how widespread? Market level or national/regional teams? C&S has had scattered impacts but with leadership changes, it becomes more likely.
@kmq+1soPZj9w Executives pick a crayon out of their box and make decisions based on if they liked that flavor or not.
The areas that were just impacted in the last couple of weeks apparently are going to get hit hard in June again. How does this company function??
C & S is Community and State
What is C and S? Thank you.
May 16, C&S
Do you know what positions will be RIF'd during the next round of cuts?
