More cuts coming for everyone or just changes at senior levels..thoughts?

They gave a vague timeline...September for next layer of management but everyone will know by end of year. At least that what I thought was said.
There are lots of people who would take a package if they had another job lined up. I would, but how am I supposed to get that other job if Shell is not transparent with its timeline? (I'm assuming big cuts beyond management --Wael made a promise based on a guess at how much we could cut).
Have heard both...mapped into roles and everyone applies through MOR. No mention of SVS yet....perhaps we can remove these JG2 BOM roles in exploration...full of high fliers who have never found a drop of oil in their careers!
Will this be a mor free for all like reshape?
Senior level will remain largely intact (they are District 1 after all) Everyone else ... May the odds be ever in your favor (Shell's Annual Hunger Games)
Really makes you want to go that extra mile doesn't it
Guess everyone will have to reapply for roles on MOR in the new organisation...today's Edwin Ivan townhall gave very little away except new org later in the year.
Interesting statement in the announcement about a specialized group looking at frontier exploration. I thought we promised to discontinue frontier exploration by end of this year?
Exploration management has been separate from development for quite some time. Exploration staff has been under Development and Subsurface for the same amount of time. I don’t think they are changing anything substantial with regards to who the rank and file report to
Sounds like exploration is going back to being separate to development...or am I understanding it wrong?
I would imagine cuts soon after - the development and subsurface VP roles seem to be the same as before the reorg. How some of these people have hung on is beyond belief - Verdonk's been there for at least eight years, Deutman even longer. There's some Dutch masonic society we don't know about. Maybe Edwin's next post will be Special Advisor......followed by a quiet exit. How Ivan is going to manage from Brisbane will be interesting - maybe it's to break the hold of The Hague?
