I see that many of the people who were laid off managed to find other positions in the company, so not sure what that exercise accomplished. Rearranging the chairs on the Titanic at best.
Are the Wallaces still there? I remember them from EHR.

Never cancel your meetings, continue to go, keep it on the schedule. Misys. leadership I heard, had hired a bunch of contract workers, fired their direct report, and forgot about these contract workers for over a year. They paid them the entire time. Missy leadership at its best.
Whatever is going on, you can bet that it's being done piecemeal to avoid the Federal WARN Act penalties -- that's the way modern corporations do all this. Piecemeal and VERY quietly. Allscripts did the same thing in... well, they did it quite a few years running to be honest -- fire a small number of people from each office/department every week for three or four months to mask the fact that they were canning entire departments' worth of people and "offshoring" those jobs.
Over the past month or two there are a lot of holes in the Outlook Global Address Book if you know what I mean. I've had meetings cancelled because the organizer is no longer present. It keeps getting harder to find answers or solutions to problems because the people that used to handle things are no longer there. Etcetera etcetera.
