Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Its not just Product strategy but TDC Corporate culture that's a day late and dollar short

Hopefully, for all of you Long time 30+ year non - minority lifers...DEI is dead. Maybe KKR equity will aquire TDC and the employees will be treated with respect. "Amid growing legal, social and political backlash, American businesses, industry groups and employment professionals are quietly scrubbing DEI from public view - though not necessarily abandoning its practice. As they rebrand programs and hot-button acronyms, they’re reassessing decades-old anti-discrimination strategies and rewriting policies that once emphasized race and gender to prioritize inclusion for all."

Ok, Lets throw out the R word! This came from a very interesting article from the Washington Post, dated May 5, 2024 "BUSINESS
DEI is getting a new name. Can it dump the political baggage?
Under mounting legal and political pressure, companies’ DEI tactics are evolving.

Keep throwing out the R word and it will be so diluted that it will lose its effect and we will be right back where we started. You must be worried about your achievements
