With losing the NGI contract the RIF has been confirmed and rumors have started about percentages of groups that will be cut but still haven't heard when it will actually take place, anyone know?

Seeing details on a subreddit that Wednesday of next week is when they will be delivering WARN notices. Looks to be around 500 people.
LV is big enough that 500 people is the threshold for a WARN. HR/legal have not disclosed a number yet to managers. Given the level of overstaffing right now 33% seems too high.
LV is affected. Warn notice will be >33% layoffs.
Any Idea in numbers?
Will all of space park be affected?
Managers have been scheduled for their pre RIF meetings. WARN notice is expected next week.
Lately I’ve seen 1 week per year of service for severance. SP is rumored to have another wave as well. More details should be coming in early June.
Yeah we are hearing rumors in Utah that the elite will not allow volunteers, will give two weeks notices and may be given more information on or around June 2nd. I feel that they will be correcting all areas that need attention from over hiring, lack of programs and these contracts we keep loosing to other companies. Any info would be much appreciated.
I'm getting cut. 100% sure.
Does anyone know, I mean know, of there will be any severance?
Space Systems is the one impacted by losing a couple of multibillion programs in CA, AZ, and UT. CA and AZ had the biggest loses of all sites.
CA already had layoffs and you can find this info on Internet and media. I didn’t read or hear anything about the other sectors.
What states are the layoffs in? I am Rolling Meadows Mission Systems.
I heard 20% at Launch Vehicles from my manager. Heard a 2nd hand rumor that actions will start in August but that is pure rumor.
Where did you hear 45%? The NGI loss made about 500-600 redundant positions, GPI only needed to cut like 30 heads, the other programs are holding fairly steady with personnel needs. Launch Vehicles is about 3,400 people. 45% would be like 1,500 people.
I HEARD 45%....
About 20% of launch vehicles does seem to be the prevailing rumor. It also tracks with how many people are now redundant after the loss of NGI. A few other programs are also over staffed.
As for timing, probably will be announced late May. The personnel list has been handed off to HR and business unit leadership to finalize the size of the reduction.
I saw that 1 week severance per year of service is the plan as well as a 60 day WARN act time period before it goes in effect.
This layoff will likely impact most departments, but mechanical engineering will be hit particularly hard. Skills & performance seems to be the decision criteria vs doing a last in first out type of reduction.
This will impact az, Alabama and Utah
20% RIF is huge! I am so sorry to hearing this and for all people that will be impacted.
I heard 20%
