What the he-l will happen to the Cork office in the future? And will there be another round. Hopefully there will.
Man EU employee rights and protections are amazing. Sadly nothing like that will ever happen in USA.
There's no layoff in US
Last time I checked US is not in Europe ...
“ BRCM employed 20K and annual revenue was $25B with avg margin above 70%. VMWARE employed 37K employees and annual revenue was $12B with avg margin near 85%. How many people does VMWARE need to maintain its code?”
Maintain its code? Just the code? Around 5k… maybe less.
There's no layoff in US. Only transitions and small number of VMC people
This is definitely fake, please take it down

VMware employee headcount is shrinking in all the markets. HT is focused on short-term profitability for his major AVGO shareholders. Cost-cutting is the highest priority now.
No need to argue anymore. HT is making the hard decisions for all of us. A lot of us will be laid off starting with day 2 transition. I am hearing that there will be lay offs all over the place not just transition employees in May.
I ve seen it happening too! In some countries. All countries are treated separately.
What are you talking about? Day 1 in EMEA hasn't completed yet due to the workers councils in some countries.
