Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Series and Apple’s M Series

Does X86 have any chance against these strong ARM-based competitors??

"I guess Intel will come up with some sorts of hybrid x86 & ARM chip"

A hybrid ISA chip with significantly more transistors / die size with all the baggage of x86 and master of none. Sounds like a winner. You clearly work for Intel.

5% market share

They own the premium market which is the most lucrative. Look at dollar share not units.

iPad has basically destroyed all low tier laptops.

Intel and AMD and maybe Qualcomm can sell a lot of cr-p in the middle.

I guess Intel will come up with some sorts of hybrid x86 & ARM chip to against this threat but I don’t think its ARM portion will work so they might just disabled if the performance doesn’t do well.

Apple doesn't matter. They are stuck at around 5% market share.

Qualcomm has to resort to faking benchmarks even against Meteor Lake while by the time EliteX is released, Lunar Lake will be around the corner.

No chance against apple.
Qualcomm is a wait and see since it’s their first real chip for PC.

AMD is also pretty good.

Intel is in for a rough time.
