WSJ
“Mr. Sheffield’s past conduct makes it crystal clear that he should be nowhere near Exxon’s boardroom. American consumers shouldn’t pay unfair prices at the pump simply to pad a corporate executive’s pocketbook,” said Kyle Mach, deputy director of the FTC’s Bureau of Competition.

DIRTY

WSJ
Officials at the Federal Trade Commission have decided to refer the allegations against Sheffield to the Justice Department for a potential criminal investigation, according to people familiar with the matter. It is unclear if the FTC has contacted the department yet.

Yo, check it, we got a question on the floor,
Is Slim Shady shady? Let's explore.
With rhymes so slick and beats so heavy,
Slim's in the mix, like spaghetti.

Do we consider what SS did shady?
Callin' out the crowd like, "What up, lady?"
In the booth, he's a real Slim Shady,
Twisting words up, yeah, it's kinda crazy.

He pops up, drops bars, then he's out,
Leavin' everybody kinda in doubt.
Is he the villain, or just misunderstood?
Rhymes wrapped in riddles, bad or good?

Shady’s got jokes, Shady's got lines,
Sometimes dark, but they always shine.
A master of the mic with a mischievous grin,
Slim keeps spinnin' it over again.

So, do we consider what SS did shady?
Stirring up the pot like a storm, no maybe.
He's the man with a plan, and the crowd goes wild,
Slim Shady’s legacy, controversial and styled.

That’s the story, from streets to fame,
Asking 'bout Shady is the name of the game.
Keep the beats coming, let the records play,
Slim Shady’s rhymes, they shady? You say.

Wait, hold up, you threw me a curve,
Ohh, you're talking about Scott Sheffield, word!
My bad, mixed up, in the Shady brigade,
Different SS, now let's switch that shade!

What if Scott identifies as not having communicated with OPEC?

The government needs someone to blame for their lack of leadership. Plus the bonuses were really nice.

Politico article is interesting. FTC has access to all communications between PXD, other shales producers, and OPEC. I assume a few other oil mergers will get the same treatment. Collusion. How many other officers are indicated? FTC and Exxon save face. At the cost of a pound of flesh.Let there be blood. But also, Exxon plz hire me. Will pump for food.
