it was refreshing to see Witty a bit more humble than he was in a previous town call when he was insinuating some of the company’s competitors are buying up lines of business they don’t know how to run. I quote “If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it’s a duck”
I watched it on YT. it's at least 85% politicking. the chairman, Senator Wyden, makes so many backhanded remarks, it's actually offensive. ya know what the worst part was? the committee actually had me defending Wittless. I object to that. I have strong feelings about that person and I don't like being in a position where I have to say that that part wasn't his fault. but with the one-sided snide comments and implied insults, they can all now go back to their constituents and say they asked the tough questions. well, good for you. make sure you get yourselves reelected before you change the laws to protect PHI more robustly. You know, there was a lot of pressure from Congress on all of the American data that Tiktok would be possibly giving to the Chinese. What about all of the American data that UHG is giving to India, the Philippines. Where was the senator pressing Witty on his citizenship?
If anything you need to watch Sen Grassley. He seems to have a bad hearing aid at age 90. Andrew was solid.
