Anyone hear the rumor there won’t be any raises for the next 7 years? For those that aren’t RIF’d or quit that is lol.

Well the chance of being let go is always there, but for those that typically get raises, this is a reasonable question.
I'd be worried about having a job not about a raise. Priorities...

Optum gives raises? I've been there for 9 years and have yet to see more than 1% on stellar year-end reviews. My base is UNDER their OWN market benchmarks, and the raise doesn't even come close to a cost-of-living increase, much less match my merit ratings.
You HR douches should stop trolling this site and do your jobs of training management!
No raises for 7 years?? I have been here 14yrs, one time I got a 3.5% raise when my review was all 5’s. The rest of the years I was above average 4.0 usually, never saw more than 1.25% merit increase. All the years the Cost of Living Index was higher, so actually this company has not given raises in general to its staff for the last 14yrs!! Hence quiet quitting and enjoying my 25hr workweek
