Wonder why 3M had to hire a retiree to be its CEO for next 5 years.... nobody else interested in the job?
He is getting ready to sell to the lowest bidder.
I think he is just working out of the 264 cafeteria until his office is ready.
One can only presume, given his age and track record, that Brown was selected for this job because he was willing to follow the playbook laid out by the old boss, who conveniently remains as head of the BoD.
