Not completing the survey gives your supervisor and business unit lower employee engagement score. Low engagement scores reflect poorly on managers. So don’t fill it out.
this is really from my employee survey.
Q: what can UHG do to better support your professional and career growth?
A: Stop terrorizing the employees. I think that would be step 1.
Q: what is UHG doing well in supporting your professional and career growth?
A: well, I haven't been "affected" yet.
Q: what are the most 1 or 2 specific steps the company or management can take to improve your work experience?
A: I've had 3 different immediate supervisors and 5 different higher leaders in the last 3 months. I'd really like that to stop.
RANK THSE STATEMENTS:
"I feel proud to work for our company."
1 - strongly disagree
"I am enthusiastic about my future with our company as a place to build my career."
1 - strongly disagree
"I look forward to coming to work."
1 - strongly disagree
Best not to do a survey. No response is disengagement and says more. Your manager just gets rid of you or penalizes you for anything bad. They can tell who writes the comments and who rates them bad.ie 5s rate high 2s rate low. They never do anything about them so there are no actions. We weren’t even shown the responses or survey results the last few times when we asked! What does that tell you.
Well I was honest and my manager knew my feelings. After being successful for several years this year I got a 2. I am pretty sure she knew it was me!!
I've heard that the amount of money that is saved for our department for raises has a direct correlation to our manager's ratings. So basically, if I put down high scores- I'll get more money (possibly). Since they aren't doing anything with the results, I gave all good ratings. Except I couldn't lie about being burned out. Working more evenings, early mornings, and weekends is ki-ling me and probably sending me to an early grave.
Tore them into shreds. Leadership is such a a joke.
I did not do one last year because I’m on a small team and my direct would know exactly who it was that said what I would say.
I didn't do one this year because tomorrow is my last day and they can take a flying leap off a short pier. They know what they did, and they know how I feel about it.
This has been an ongoing issue for over a year, problem is every “imitative” they gave me that was really a test, I blew out of the water,
At least this way I got paid a ridiculous salary for over a year, supervisor isn’t even bright enough to manage me out the door like they should have… and they had to pay me months and months of severance to get rid of me… and I already have my job lined up just waiting for them to pull the trigger, starting in 2 weeks when I get back from my Optum funded vacation.
Jokes on them/ I got mine. That’s my employee survey and my exit interview in one.
FYI - it’s not anonymous. It is confidential. That’s different and the survey does not claim to be anonymous.
Put in all at highest rating possible for the survey. Comments input were: Management is wonderful. They know exactly what they’re doing and have the departments back. Go getters and honest leadership. Exemplary or-l skills, in many areas.
Now take all of above and do a 180. Minus the or-l skill part.
At this point, I believe disengaging and not completing the survey sends a stronger message. Also, they can't penalize you for not completing this 'anonymous' survey. During a prior conversation I had with a manager, who was not over me, the manager shed light on her thoughts. She informed me that she could tell exactly who provided the written comments based on writing style and made a statement how based on comments from one particular person, she didn't want that person working for her anymore. Be careful if you choose to do the survey and provide comments that could be associated with you. I for one will not complete it this round.
Watch there be technical issues resulting in unpublishable survey responses. Clowns gonna clown.
First question “do you see yourself with Optum in a year”. = strongly disagree
Provide some feedback to your responses = I was laid off after multiple years of high marks on MAPs
What could company do better
= not lay me (and others) off
Nnaahh... Im not pulling out phone to scan a qrcode and answer some daft questions.
