Hello Tony……so many mediocre stores that YOU are responsible for…and that represent the brand….…I
As a very Experienced former proud, retail executive and now part time associate for Macys. ..Once THE American dept store we were proud of…. My observations now …working part time in a lower tier store……are depressing….. very poor standards including cleanliness and merchandising….very minimal and inexperienced associates, ignorant store manager with very minimal leadership skills. No regard for visual merchandising, General lack of professionalism from leadership team . Macys 2nd / 3rd stores offer a non competitive, average to mediocre experience at best.
What was once an employer that hired the best ,demanded the best from staff, inspired both employees and customers…….it’s all gone. How can you get it back? Get back….talent, assortment, experience….accountability,professionalism…..Tony …you have a major challenge……hope you are up for it and can surround yourself with the talent to make the best choices……to make Macys Americas Dept Store again…….

its not coming back proud Pt former manager.. Jeff sold the company out to pocket millions in stock scam and a bite of the real estate when the company finally goes private and is sold.
