Vena will leave by end of 2025. He was only hired to cut jobs and pretend he knows how to lead a company. He would have better better off making more failed attempts at base camp, than improving shareholder value. UP stock price has done norhing but drop and this flood might sink his boat. He fired those who do the work and kept this execs and middle management who create more meaningless work. I left 4 years ago and never been happier and more wealthy - not just money, but pure joy never having to enter that place again. 30+ years. No creativity, no brainers, nor the firepower to grow this company. Led by Mr Yo Rocker and others who escaped Venas firings ....they are only interested in filling their deep pockets and promoting buddies. Life has never been better. Trust me, pension gone. Why stay...
Just bring back 2 formen and 1 relief and send the existing managers back to tools or wherever they can go! These damn yards don't need f* managers! At the location I work at this place ran great without senior in junior managers what a crock of s**
I agree FIRE all these useless and spineless managers they are only puppets for the company they can’t make a decision on their own
How We Win Together!
5 years of restructuring and they still haven’t figured out that there are too many managers?
There’s a reason for that… Have to make sure there’s 5-20 people below you.. Job security

Time for the Ol Big Boy to tour the system for the managers cuts
When is this happening? By the end of the month? All aboard!!!
Good, WAY to many managers as it is! Less craft workers should equal less managers!
